Venture Grants
The Foundation successfully administers a teacher venture grant program. This program is funded primarily through payroll deducted contributions made by district employees. The Foundation uses these contributions and annual fundraisers to award grants to successful teacher applicants. Project funds go to applicants whose projects are innovative and have an impact on improving educational opportunities for Pine Grove Area students.
In the past five years 15 grants have been awarded to teachers in the Pine Grove Area School District. Over $12,000.00 has been awarded through these Venture Grants.
